SAI - STEM Advancement Initiative
SAI - STEM Advancement Initiative
SAI - STEM Advancement Initiative is a tutoring program organized by the Sri Sathya Sai Baba Center of Central San Jose (SSSBCSJ), providing remedial Math tutoring and introduction to coding and robotics concepts to sub-proficient students.
The program is offered in two sessions: the Fall session is from September- December, and the Winter session is from late January to the end of May.
The program is conducted as an in-person program in San Jose and as an online program on Zoom.
The in-person program is conducted at Mexican Heritage Plaza in San Jose. Students are exposed to Lego-based robotics along with math.
The online tutoring program consists of a structured Zoom-based tutoring program, including Math and Coding.
Both sessions run concurrently on Saturday mornings. Students attending the program are in 3rd -7th grade.

Tiny Homes Service
Tiny home is a specific type of housing more permanent than a tent or disaster shelter, but less than an apartment or something else thought of as permanent housing. The structures — smaller than 400 square feet.
There are tiny homes in multiple locations.
Volunteers provide dinner options like Burritos, Quesadillas, Tacos, and Pizza.

SJFSH Dinner Service
San Jose Family Supportive Housing provides temporary housing and supportive services to approximately 180 families annually. They serve single- and two-parent families with children from cities throughout the South Bay. We encourage our young volunteers to cook with the adults and serve the residents so they can develop empathy and kindness from an early age while helping the community.
